This year’s Vino Viarte Entertainment Coordinator, Graciela Serna Nutter has been in the performance art world for over four decades as a singer, poet, and public speaker. In 2000, Nutter began setting up performance lineups for her self produced Flor y Canto (Flower and Song) festivals. Some of the past headliners Graciela has presented have included Country Joe McDonald (Country Joe and the Fish), Daniel Valdez (Zoot Suit, La Bamba), and Poet Laureate Gloria Velasquez Phd. (Roosevelt High Book Series) to name a few. A longtime resident of San Juan Bautista, Nutter is currently a Creative Associate at El Teatro Campesino as the resident Artist in the Schools plus an in-house playwright and writing facilitator for the famed theater company.
